STEM Course Tutor (STEM Internship Scheme) 

 

Job Duties:

  • To deliver robotics and coding courses in primary and secondary schools

  • To provide positive learning experiences for students

  • On-job training will be provided

 

Requirements:

  • Current higher education institute students from HKU, PolyU, EduHK, HKUST, CityU, HKBU, LingNan U who are pursuing Education, Engineering or Computer Science related program

  • Basic programming knowledge is a must

  • Familiar with micro:bit, LEGO Education products and VEX products is a plus

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

 

Duration:

This is a full-time internship position. The duration of the internship will depend on the intern's availability and the needs of the organization

Research and Development (STEM Internship Scheme)

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a research and development intern to assist with ongoing projects related to STEM robotics education. The intern will work alongside experienced professionals in the field of robotics to help develop new programs and curriculum, conduct research, and test new technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for robotics to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative field.

 

Job Duties:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of new robotics programs and mobile App, develop IoT etc

  • Conduct research on the latest advancements in robotics technology and education

  • Collaborate with other team members to design and test new robotics projects

  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of robotics equipment and materials

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions

  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a related field such as robotics, engineering, computer science, or education

  • Strong interest in robotics and technology

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Familiarity with robotics equipment and materials is a plus
